As a Senior Hardware Engineer at Elma Technology, you will design electrical drive and control systems for a wide range of projects in Machinebuilding industry and industrial automation. One day you might be designing the drive system for a dredger, the next for an overhead crane in the port of Rotterdam or a complete machine park.

You will work on projects largely independently. You will act as a linchpin, liaising with colleagues and customers to make the project a success. For larger projects, you will work in teams with a project manager. You will be the technical point of contact for (junior) engineers.

What can you expect?

Independently leading hardware engineering projects, taking care of customer contact yourself after the calculation
You may also be involved in complex calculations
Designing and developing electrical drive and control systems in EPLAN
Collaborating with fellow engineers/specialists and managing (junior) engineers on larger projects
(Optional) Participation in the internal Pro Panel project

Wie ben jij?

You are an experienced hardware engineer who can work both independently and as part of a team. You have a strong technical foundation and enjoy supervising projects from start to finish. You have good communication skills, enjoy variety, and can cope well with changing schedules.

Experience with EPLAN
Ability to lead projects independently
Customer-focused and good communication skills
An affinity with drive technology is a major asset
Enjoys variety and can deal flexibly with ad hoc tasks
